Urgent-MD

My son and I came to this location, sick. We were greeted at the front desk and filled out the paperwork quickly. We were seen by the nurse who took our vitals, swabbed us for the tests and listened to us. We waited another 10 minutes and the doctor checked us! The doctor sent out the prescription to our pharmacy and we got notifications of 2 lab results as we drove out of the parking lot. All staff were kind, professional, and attentive to us!

Came in because i have a bad cough and the receptionist was kind of rude she was on the phone with Someone while assisting me. I told her i have s new insurance and she cut me off and rudely said “gimme it I’ll change it for you!” And hands me the clip board to fill out my info and once i got seen the nurse just took my pressure she left and when the doctor came he only listened to my lungs and said oh i might have allergies or walking pneumonia and said i need an xray and sent me on my way. Mind you the place was very dead. There was no one there and I feel like they were just trying to get me in and out of there really quick.

The front desk was very friendly, which made a huge difference. The P.A that attended to me was great as well. Thank you

I walked into the waiting room in excruciating pain with a badly dislocated shoulder. Angela greeted me and got me signed in quickly then Colin took me in the back evaluated me and filled in Scott with my details. Scott came in and took charge. He explained what was going on exactly with , what I was going to feel and got to work. It took a few hours but between Collin having to hold me down and Scott manipulating my misaligned bones, they got everything back in the right place.I think any other place would have turned me away but not this place!! They are a truly exceptional group of people and I consider myself extremely lucky to have walked in there.

The staff is very friendly and provides, the PA was knowledgeable and attentive. I didn’t have to wait long to be seen by the medical professional.

Great atmosphere and great doctors. I did my DOT medical certification for my CDL. The doctor is amazing and very cool.

Terrible staff. I just received a call from the office and she said sarcastically “thanks for telling us you left” and then hung up on me without even giving me a chance to speak. She claimed they called me more then once when they only called one time. The lady with the dreads at the front desk was nice but she refused to give me any kind of timeline on the wait. People are coming in there sick with fever and in pain etc. Not going back there

Seen promptly, all staff courteous and attentive, Medical staff knowlegable and intervention was successful.

Was told that, a MD was on staff by the receptionist but, only a PA on staff. Had I known that, would have gone somewhere else.

The facility is in need of a major cleaning. The bathroom has water stains all around the sink. The bathroom looks like it has been cleaned. I arrived at 2:06 with one person ahead of me and the physician assistant didn’t come into my room until 3:15. Even the exam room could use a good cleaning. The glass containers holding the cotton bales and compression wooden stick was stained. I didn’t feel comfortable being treated because the facility is clean.

I went to Urgent care today with my son and as usual they were awesome with us! It was a little busy but they still got me in rather quickly and the doctor on staff was really nice and two ladies at reception in front were great to so was the male nurse who checked us in I wish I remember everyone’s name but I don’t but none the less I was pleasantly happy with the carethanks guys!Sincerely Walsh Mercado Family!

The woman at the front desk was VERY NASTY and RUDE. I will never come back there again. She doesn’t need to work in this industry with people at all. I am disgusted

Doctor Amir was very polite. He takes care of and attends to his patients quickly and effectively. I left urgent care feeling appreciably better from when I had first walked in. Highly recommend.

Love Rebecca Tannis! I wish I could see her as a primary! Omg! kept eye contact with me the whole visit, very down to Earth, I understand everything that was explained to me.Thank you!!

Very nice staff and clean! Not long wait time!

They had me waiting with hydrogen peroxide in my ear for 15 minutes when they said they would be back in 5 minutes. This is besides for the 15 minute wait time to get an exam room, then a 15 minute wait for the PA to come in. All took over an hour when it should have taken no more than 30 minutes.

My daughter had strep, she did tell the doctor her throat was hurting , the doctor looked at her throat and said she was fine, then they sent us the the ER, because she was still vomiting. Turns out if they had simply swab her at the urgent care in the first place, it could have saved us 6 hours. The entire staff needs to be retained, the female doctors were kind but they needed to stay focused and get the job done correctly. The receptionist said she had our info then called us the next day to get our info… tho whole purpose of an urgent care is to save time. Which this urgent care didn’t. A simple swab, their job. Could have made this visits 💯 better

Do not go here if you have a serious medical condition cuz the dr didn’t know what HPS was and he said I had allergies when I actually have an ear infection

Dont come here if you can avoid it. Doctor or PA Begum here was very sassy and rude with no compassion. She didnt want to prescribe any medications for the symptoms my family and I were having and suggested we drink hot tea with honey. Meanwhile two of us have asthma and struggled with breathing due to being sick. We really had to advocate for ourselves to get the medications that we needed. She eventually agreed to give us medication. I called to pick up my prescription after memorial day nothing was put in. I called back here only to hear that nothing was put in from that doctor and that we would have to come back in AGAIN to see another doctor 🤦‍♀️. I explained I was just there and the doctor said she would put in something for us. The staff on the phone did everything she could so we wouldnt have to come back and the intake staff did their job but the doctor wasnt helpful. I came here in the past and had a great experience with past doctors so I am really disappointed to go through this.Update: hours later and still no medication was sent. Please save yourself the mental and emotional stress especially while not feeling well and dont come to this place. You have been warned !

Usually this place is great. I went in the other day and asked for a Covid test. They couldn’t tell me the price of the Covid test asked to see the doctor I have a sinus infection. She listen to my chest and looked at my ears and said everything was fine. Meanwhile it’s not. I had to go to my regular doctor and he prescribe medicines. The day I went they seem like they didn’t want to be bothered with me.

Dr Rich, Collin, and the girls in this facility were absolutely incredible! The front desk receptionist made it a smooth check in while my sisters finger was gushing. I can’t recommend going here enough!! Don’t think twice. Amazing experience on a Friday night just when we thought it was gonna be a long process we were in and out within an hour. Thank you so much!

3 stars because they have an x ray tech and the first two places I went to didnt. I have been waiting 90 minutes. Im the only one in the waiting room. They took a patient before me who came about 10 minutes after me. Seeing as he is first with the doctor now, he is clearly not experiencing an emergency. I, on the other hand, have a bone out of place. My fingers are numb. I cant leave now and risk a major emergency while trying to go somewhere else. When I questioned the wait time, I was told I risked getting asked to leave. What kind of medical care is this?

I came into the clinic on September 8th 2021 at 1230 pm.There were 2 receptionists sitting at the counter. They were both extremely rude. They were not helpful, and give me attitude. I approached the desk to ask how long of a wait and with a nasty attitude she responded that she could give me a time. When I approached a second time after 2 1/2hrs of waiting she rolled her eyes and said we were next. After another half an hour we finally got called.Sat in the waiting room for a total of 3hrs before being called into a room and then sat in the room for 40 minutes for a simple X-ray. One doctor on staff for the entire place? After waiting so long in the room I opened the door to get some air and was told that it was against the law to do that. The room was so hot. One of the staff tried to close the door. So I asked how much longer. I was so upset to hear that the doctor was still helping other patients and they still had no idea as to how long it would be before we could get my elderly mom an X-ray. I couldn’t stand standing any longer. It is unbelievable to me that it take this long. I helped my limping elderly mother up and we left.They should have more Drs and nurse practitioners on staff to be able to make the wait manageable. I will never step foot in this place again!!

Terrible experience !! Was not feeling well. Went into urgent care and took a rapid flu, strep and Covid test which were all negative. Took pcr Covid. I was told results would be on my patient portal in 24-48 hoursAfter about 36 hours I called the office and asked them to call the lab to get my results. They said they would and someone would call me back. THEY NEVER CALLEDI emailed them for results -no answer!The next morning still no resultsI called again and it went to voicemailI then emailed again and finally someone emailed me back and sent me my results which were positive!!In addition the final results are still not in my patient portal as of this minute!!Terrible customer serviceAlso my doctors office told me that I should have gotten results in 24 hoursNo one waits 48 hours!!

Visited Urgent-MD yesterday, the staff and doctor were absolutely amazing. They showed concern from the time I walked in to the time I left. Upon entry the two ladies in the front were both courteous and compassionate. The doctor took his time in explaining what I needed to do. I have visited this location before and have always had a great experience.

I didnt wait long to be seen. The front desk assisted me quickly. The gentleman that took my vitals and assessment threw me off a bit because he was a radiologist not a nurse. However he was very courteous and explained everything he was doing before he actually did it. I felt very comfortable with the staff. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. Despite the circumstances I was happy with my visit.

This was my first time going to an urgent care the facility was clean and well taken care of the front desk receptionist was so nice and she worked quickly and made me feel very comfortable. When I got in I saw the P.A and the nurse they were both so professional and caring and listened to my concerns they kept me calm, reassured me and explained everything they were doing. They handle me with care & understanding I was not expecting that, they also had all the right equipment and it felt like I was really in an emergency room but with a doctors office touch.I highly recommended them you won’t regret it!!!!

Not thrilled at all with my visit yesterday. I came in for a possible toe fracture. The two front desk girls were on their phones the entire time and talking very loudly about what they wanted to eat for lunch. Very unprofessional. Phones were ringing, they both waited till the last moment to answer the phone. The x-ray tech came in and told me to come with her for the x-ray and told me I can leave my purse in the room and I told her ill take it with me and she seemed annoyed about that. Which I dont understand why because at the end of the day if something happens to my bag they arent responsible am I correct? I had an x-ray done of my foot and waited over 40 minutes in the room for the doctor to come in. Although the doctor was really nice I was not pleased with the wait time at all. Granted it was a Sunday but still. I thought it was called Urgent Care for a reason?

Clean office, Fast service, friendly staff 10 out or 10!

I went here for a terrible migraine. I was taken care of by a female PA( maybe Hispanic or middle eastern descent). I forgot her name. I’ll update this when I get a chance. It was the most thorough urgent care visit I had ever had. I was there for a couple hours. It was the first time someone had ever tried to do anything about my migraines that made sense. I really couldn’t believe the type of service I was getting. I was allowed to sit in the room to rest after my intervention and I didn’t feel rushed. I felt like she actually wanted to help me instead of wanting me to leave so the room can service some one else. Blood was backing up into my IV. I stopped another nurse, she happily flushed my IV...there was no annoyance. It’s those small things that make the difference and keep people coming back. Thank you URGENT-MD for taking the time to provide exceptional service

They were not helpful, and give me attitude.If the owners of the facility are reading this, I live nearby and would love to use your service. I’m sure the only reason the receptionists acted the way they did, it’s because of bad company policy/management.It doesn’t cost more money or take more time to have a receptionist that is not rude and obnoxious.

I went here yesterday with my mother because she fell at work and was in a lot of pain. He arm was severely in pain and I understand people were waiting but they don’t prioritize by emergency level. We waited an hour to be seen. We paid $125 just for the doctor to come into the room 20 minutes later and just touch her arm. No x rays were taken and no pain medication was given. They don’t care, there was two girls at the front desk. The younger one was extremely sweet and accommodating but her supervisor was very aggressive, I asked how much longer my mother had to wait and she rolled her eyes. If you hate your job you shouldn’t be there. I asked to use the bathroom and there was no tissues or paper towel and the bathroom was dirty. I would think that because of covid they would be a little more clean but no. You’re 100% better off going to a City MD .

I visited this UrgentMD location today (like everyone else on Long Island) to get a rapid covid test for impending travel. While the wait was long, I was blown away by how efficient and courteous the staff was. Despite seeing hundreds of patients, all the staff were cool as if you were the only one there. I am very happy with my experience.

My experience at Urgent-MD Family Urgent Care was a pleasant one The front desk personnels both greeted me as I walked in the office. They were warm and friendly.The Nurse Practitioner introduced herself as she came in the room where I waited after the initial Consultation and expressed concerns about my aching swollen finger. She too was warm and friendly.Overall my experience was a good one at this Urgent Care facility. This was my second visit at this sight.

I am. Always happy with Urgent-MD. I just moved to the area and I have taken my daughter there 3 times . The front desk is welcoming and friendly. The doctors are professional and knowledgeable Generally I do not have to wait a long time. This last time I had to wait a very long time and it was really hard for my 6 year old daughter who ended up having a nasty ear infection and strep. The Dr was great with my daughter who is petrified of doctors and did not. Loose her cool when my daughter started screaming and crying.Overall, I will definitely go back again.. And I recommend it to other people

Went here and felt like it was a complete waste of my time. The physician was very dismissive. She communicated in a short and vague way. Not at all helpful. Almost like my two minutes visit was not worth her time. After SHE asked me my preferred pharmacy, my prescription was still sent to wrong pharmacy. this is not my first time visiting this office however this is my first time being seen by this particular person. And it was not at all pleasant.

Love it here!!! So professional and clean. Doctor was SO nice. Wish he was my pcp..(UPDATED REVIEW)- it seems they have a new Indian lady there seeing patients shes a PA I believe and shes horrible.i saw her twice and twice she brushed me off and gave no medications or compassion! FRAUD!!!!!!!!

First Tim at an Urgent Care for anything. Great in and out experience. The staff and doctor took care of my daughters issue within 15-20 minutes. Id highly recommend this urgent care facility to EVERYONE. The place is nice and CLEAN. SOOOOOOO glad I didnt go to the emergency room. Smells fresh and clean too. The price is affordable, I never noticed the Urgent Care CoPay amount on my Emblem Health card before today.

The staff were professional. The doctors were friendly, welcoming and thorough. My daughter laughed and was comfortable around the doctors. I did not have to wait a long time. The waiting room, bathroom, and examination room were all clean.There were hand sanitizer stations posted in the office.

Very fast and convenient. I waited about 10 minutes if that long and the doctor was prompt. I received my test quickly and left about 10-15 minutes later. No hassle. Also, I was sent a link to my email that was easy to navigate and viewed my results as soon as they were processed. Again very convenient.

I debated between going to the hospital or Urgent care. I am glad I went to Urgent Care, there was no waiting and this was on a Saturday afternoon. I received a quick diagnosis and was able to start my prescription right away. The staff was polite and friendly. Good experience in spite of being very ill.

Im giving this center 1 star because..after being seen yesterday and told that prescriptions were going to be called in, all of them werent. I had to drive down to the office to find out what was going on because you can never get anyone on the phone! Its just a automated system that directs you to a voicemail that you cant even leave a message on...it just hangs up on you. I explained the situation to the receptionist who was helpful and was told the medication would be called in...here we are 4 hours later and still nothing called in. And the receptionist told me to pick it up...it should be there. Im not feeling well, and here I am running back and forth just to have meds called in. Unacceptable!

The front desk persons were rude and unprofessional. They acted like they are untouchable. Sometimes, they might be right, but its the way they talk to people. They really need customer services training. However, the aid and the PA, are very kind and professional. I think if it wasnt for the staffs in the back, you will not have any patients.

It was very quick. I was in an out in less then a hour. I feel like the dr was probably afraid of catching my flu the way he handled me. Another thing was me being advised to take Tylenol for the pain and not being offered any from the office. I thought that was strange. After asking for some I was then given. I have been here a few times and today was one of the most worst encounters because the PA belgun who appears of Indian or Guyanese decent, I don’t know what was her deal but from the moment she walked in the room she didn’t introduce herself as I explain to her my situation she seemed very agitated or rude or merely as if she didn’t want to treat me or hear me out and I felt as if I was in a correctional facility based on how she spoke and communicated to me from then I immediately noticed her attitude and tone of voice was complete lack of respect and I became uncomfortable and offended explaining my situation. but I remained calm because normally in the past I would give the same lack of respect or become confrontational however today I decided I’ll will ignore this Physician assistant that goes by the name of PA niomi belgum . In my experiences in the past here all the Pa /MDs and receptionist have been very helpful and shown respect and compassion And were nonjudgmental but today I felt very bothered even though she treated me there was a lack of respect and clearly she seem as if she didn’t want to do her job or doesn’t like me or her job or perhaps having a bad day and decided to take it out on me . I thank god I stopped myself from taking to another level and remained calm because toBe honest I’m almost lost my cool. Nonetheless someone should evaluate how’s she interacts with patients because this was total disrespect on all levels and I’m sure I’m not the first to feel this way if she behaves like that regularly and maybe one day someone won’t have the same Control to keep their cool and it will blow out of proportion or worst

I came here as I couldnt get an appointment with my doctor. Husband said I should go here instead of waiting. Glad I did. Wait time wasnt long. I was seen by the nurse, and shortly after that by the NP. Both of them were nice. Was eventually seen by the Dr. Very funny. There was a bit of a wait in between,but it was OK. They sent me up with an appointment for a sonagram and they called me back before I even got home with the results. Very clean place. And friendly front desk! Would go again!

I did not feel as the PA took my concerns seriously, rushed us and the excuse paper for school was not given although promised. We did not get a call or email regarding the test results, as was promised, but later I was able to create a portal and see them online. Our prescription turned out not to be covered by insurance and the PA did not bother asking me what insurance I have before prescribing it.

Very quick care. Front desk and nurse was very friendly. Doc was nice also didnt want to run unnecessary tests but gave me meds just in case. Was just a little bit dismayed she wasnt sure what i had should have consulted a more experienced doc. Overall nice experience was in and out very quick and she called my scripts in right away 😉

My first time there, the staff were very helpful, the wait time to be seen was very short, Collin was very kind and caring a real good fellow.Highly recommend them if your in need of medical attention.

Best Urgent Care that Ive ever been to, hands down. Staff was so so nice and facilities were incredibly clean. When you are not feeling well and you can have such a wonderful experience seeing the doctor it makes all the difference. Thank you so much for your help!

Front desk friendly and efficient. PA that treated me knew right away what was causing my medical problem. Prescribed two meds and both are working well. I am on the mend. Feeling so much better. I am so glad I chose urgent care instead of the emergency room.

To see a nurse the wait was outrageous. It was an hour long wait and then another half hour to get a doctor in the room. We were told the medication would be ready to pickup in half an hour and ended up being 1 1/2 hours. The room where I was waiting for the doctor to come was very dirty. The front desk receptionist wasnt very nice either. I dont really recommend this place.

The doctors were so wonderful and patient with my daughter. As uncomfortable as my daughter was, the doctors made her laugh and smile. There was also absolutely no wait time. I hadn’t even finished filling out the forms before my daughters name was called. She didn’t even want to leave in the end! I would absolutely recommend, and definitely would go back if need be!

Unfortunately I had to take my daughter in because she had a fever. The dr said it was the flu. She is 8. Dr prescribed her medicine and called it into CVS. Unfortunately that particular rx is “on backorder”. Cvs said they been trying to reach that dr and no response. My mom even went back into urgent care to tell the dr that CVS is waiting for a call back and still nothing. Now it’s been two days still no response from the dr. So I had to call her pediatrician this morning. I would have never taken her to urgent care had it not been already late Saturday. Best to just go straight to pediatrician the following day.

I honestly feel like they should be my primary care provider lol because the service was so good and better than primary providers. Have been here multiple times from covid testing to xrays and the staff and PAs are so thorough and really supportive at making you feel eased about a sometimes uneasy situation. I absolutely recommend them for care and service. Way better than going to an emergency room and they have xrays at this facility.

Great experience the staff is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We were in and out. PA Lana was very professional and personable she made my child feel at ease. He definitely left with a smile on his face. I would like to bring all my kids to see her. Kudos to you Urgent MD.

I was in need of a doctor and treatment when I arrived Saturday evening at 7:15. The receptionist was efficient and compassionate.As I was waiting, a young child (3 yrs) was brought in by his mother. He was having difficulty breathing. In a matter of a few minutes, an ambulatory bus arrived and the EMTs took the child and his family to a hospital. I was impressed at the speed, actions and words of the EMTs.My wait to be seen was only 15 minutes.Nurse was terrific, doc even more so. Doc had answers to all of my questions and spoke to me in terms I easily understood. I was comfortable with the prognosis and was treated and sent home.Both the nurse and the receptionist said, Good night. Speedy recovery as I left the building.Very clean. Easily accessible. Well-staffed.

The receptionist was not to nice; I had also asked her to change the channel on the TV or shut it off since it was inappropriate and there was a small child in the waiting, she was very rude and said let me do my job..... I don’t remember the name of the PA who saw me, there were NO Dr’s on staff, she checked me and diagnosed me for what she thought it looked like. She did not bother telling me to make sure I drink plenty or anything more than she needed to. Not even “hope you feel better”; no sense of warmth in that facility. They also sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. They never confirmed which CVS. So I went to my pharmacy only to be told that it’s not there. Not feeling well I had to drive to another part of the city. Not too professional.

Doctor wasn’t very helpful. I was told pressure is a lil high with the digital. I explained to them if you use manual machine my numbers will b lower based on previous experiences. Doctor said they don’t do that. Gave my symptoms & what I used to combat my issues. Doctor was very cold & not very helpful so last time I go to this location

This was my second visit here and just as the first time, I was completely satisfied with their professionalism and courtesy. The only thing this time I was a little annoyed with was that they called me in the exam room and I waited quite a bit before I actually saw the doctor and they took a while to call my prescription in to the pharmacy. But I definitely still would recommend and return.

Fast service, calm setting, PA and nurses there were helpful. Went to my family practice first and it was packed and noisy, it wasn’t life or death but it was an emergency to where I needed to be seen right away. So I left and went to an urgent care. I was seen by a nurse with 5 minutes and then the PA right after she was done.

I had lost my voice and then woke up Saturday morning and had an ear ache. Went to Urgent MD and the Doctor and staff was great! I am so appreciative of this facility and staff.

I went to this Medical center on Monday morning, 05/21/18. I had been suffering with nasal stuffiness and pressure, sore throat, and laryngitis. The receptionist was cordial and efficient. I was given the necessary paperwork and I was called into the exam room just as Id finished filling it out. The triage nurse came in to get my vitals and then the Practioner came in to examine me. She ruled out any fluid in my lungs or strep throat. She prescribed a nasal spray for the nasal drip, and an over the counter Antihistamine. I was very satisfied with my visit and the services that I received. The facility is very clean looking and convenient to get to....there is parking. I would recommend this medical center.

Starting with the receptionist she went over and beyond she was soft and sweet. It was a Sunday I was sick like a dog she understood me between coughing called my insurance told me I could come in. Place was clean staff was very comforting. I would definitely go there again and recommend my friends and family.

Today, October 23, 2021, I went to family urgent care center located on Rockaway turnpike. After filling out the required paperwork, I was greeted by a very disrespectful nurse who was very condescending. She made me feel embarrassed and ultimately I left due to her less than pleasant customer service attitude.

My son was not eating or drinking anything for the last few days, i knew something was wrong. The center i go to the pediatrician were not there that Saturday morning, went online found Urgent-MD and rush over there. The Doctor found out that my son had strep throat, so right away he did a culture and decide to give him the meds right in the office just in case my son wouldnt take it orally. Now my son doing just fine and back to eating and drinking again. I am very thankfully to them. I would definitely recommend them they r great staff.

Today was my second time at Urgent MD Cedahurst . This patient care team is the best- they are timely, efficient and thorough! Just as important, they are kind and compassionate, front desk to back office. Today I was treated by Dr. Van, the medical director, and received excellent care. In and out time - 1 hour. Thank you Dr. Van and staff!

Exceptional service and care. I was greeted with a smile and concern, with very little wait time. From the attendant to the doctor everyone was helpful. I recently had surgery was concerned about dosage and the attendant researched and found the maximum dosage of ibuprophin I could take without overdosing. This facility provides excellent service.

I came in for strep and Covid test for a cold. They were not able to tell me if the lab they will send the specimens to is covered by my insurance. So they just did rapids and charged me a copay.

The doctor was extremely pleasant however the receptionist was not. Very rude, didn’t seem to want to deal with anyone, continued to talk on her FaceTime WHILE she was attempting to “help me.” She then proceed to continue talking to her family about her personal life, including watching Halloween movies, laughing like a hyena. Extremely unprofessional.

I was there this afternoon for the 1st time ever. the Dr (male) on call and the supporting staff were nice enough. Nothing outstanding. However I was extremely disappointed with the wait time and for this reason will never go back. I was the only person in the waiting room when we walked in and so I was sure we would be in and out in 45 min TOPS. We came in for a simple hand injury/ xray to confirm there was no break. It took about 45 min for us to even be brought back to the exam room. Another 10-15 min at least for the dr to see us and while I cant be 100% sure I dont think there was anyone else back there. Once he briefly examined my daughter he said it wld be 20 min too to get the xray and results but it was more like an additional 50+ min. So what I thought wld be a 45 min visit tops turned into a 2hr + visit. In all honesty it ruined all our plans for the day and not worth it. May I add that I am a health care provider myself for the past 11 yrs in a private practice and I know when a practice is truely busy (not the case here I am pretty sure) and when they dont seem to value the pts time.

Came in when I was very sick at the recommendation of my PCP. The nurse who did my intake was very kind and courteous, and Dr. A. was amazing! I would use him as my PCP if I could! In and out in less than an hour, and am feeling much better today. Thank you!!

WELL...I had a terrible experience at Urgent MD. I took my daughter to Urgent care because my daughters doctor was not around . So we went to Urgent care...When we were inside the office.. We saw a nurse practitioner, thinking shes the doctor. Because no told us who she is...., I explained to her a couple of times...that my daughter been very sick for 3 days, She had high fever and she had a terrible cold, She complained about her ears and throat and couldnt breathe Through her nose. I got so scared. Because I thought she had the covid virus, She was very sick !!! She saw doctor or nurse name Naima Begum, She took some tests to see if anything came positive, Only the covid came back negative, Thank God. She assumed right away that my daughter is ok and told me ALL SHE NEED IS A HOT BATH AND TEA...AND TOLD US SHE FINISHED . AGAIN I asked her to give her something for cold or any nasal spray ..anything to help her, She walks out of room and said, She doesnt need anything. She never listened to me. I asked for anything to help daughter until the other text comes back...My daughter got worse the next day, I call Urgent MD again to tell them whats happening. I called 5 times, they put me on hold for 1 hours. Terrible terrible..Finally a Dr Van called me and apologize for all that happened. He called me to tell me that one of her tests came back positive. The nurse NEVER called to tell me about her results..Dr. Van listened to me and right away send her some antibiotics for her cold and 2 different nose sprays ,so she can breathe. Thank God for Dr. Van. He helped her right away ..HES the best! I advised People to be careful with Nurse Naima Begum. She doesnt diagnose patients correctly.

If you are not feeling well and want someone to give you a thorough exam without rushing you then look elsewhere. Rude receptionist and unprofessional staff. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your own health.

The lady at the desk was very sweet, however, I waited for the doctor for almost 40 minutes and it was a slow day. I had to come out and ask someone when I’ll be seen. once the doctor arrived, she seemed to rush through my check up and was very dismissive. I was not pleased with today’s visit at all.

Everyone was exceptionally friendly in helpful. I didnt have to wait at all. It may have helped that I was probably the first patient that day. They were even so kind as to track me down to let me know Id left a tote bag there. Which I still need to pick up.

I’m getting bill for a COVID test? $300 dollarsCOVID test are suppose to be free..I called the office and they said that the bill department are going to call me back! Never did!They are only taking advantage of people

My boyfriend was in a minor car accident and we came here to due to him having pain on his right part of his torso. we arrived at 5:30pm. he was taken into a room around 6pm. the doctor said he needed to get an x-ray. the x-ray was completed at 7pm and he was told that it would take 15 minutes for them to develop. at 8pm the doctor still had not return with results. i could not ask the front desk staff what was happening because they were busy gossiping and off the clock staff members were threatening violence against staff members not present. at one point a staff member said that hewlett location was “retarded” when she realized that people in the waiting room could hear her she apologized by saying “i’m sorry but i’m off the clock.” i’m not one for professionalism but read the room and know there’s a time and place. luckily the doctor called after we had arrived back home to tell us he was okay. but the experience was nothing but negligent care.

Went to this place after i was a pedestrian hit by a car and needed an x-ray on my foot to see if it was broken. i was greeted by the two most abnoxious premedonnas who were extremely mad that i interrupted their doing nothing at the front desk. they gave me a very hard time checking in at which point I left. This is a place that deals with sick people and should have sensitive knowledgeable people sitting at the front desk. Avoid this place. take the ride to city md much nicer people and real doctors.

I like going to the Cedarhurst Urgent Care because it’s usually not as crowded as the other centers closer to me. The staff is very attentive. & thorough when it comes to testing & x-rays. However, when I came in shivering with high fever I did not notice the sign in sheet.on the desk. I gave my information to the front staff. Another patient came in after me & signed her name on the sheet before the staff reminded me to sign in. Knowing that I came in first, I was called in after the lady who singed in first. Waiting for 40 minutes when you are freezing with high fever feels like a lifetime.

I was given someone elses doctor note. I had to call back twice for them to email me my correct doctors note. The doctor or PA prescribed a medication that was never called in. To try to reach someone by phone is a nightmare. If you can find another urgent care please dont waste your time.

I went in for a visit to check up on a lump that was growing by my right ear. The doctor was friendly and checked my vitals, and did a few tests. I was fine. Then he suggested that I go do blood work and get a CT scan. I havent received my results yet for my blood tests but the scan came back I possibly have lymphoma cancer. Going to get second opinions by going to ear,throat specialist and going to see my primary doctor. I really wish its a swollen gland. Because I got it when I had a cold/allergy. Exceptional service. Very friendly staff.

Ive been to this facility several times, I must say that I am very pleased with the service received. Reception and medical assistants are very professional as well as thorough. Each time I visited this facility, I was very pleased with the treatment and bedside manner of the treating physicians.

I’d want to give 5 stars because the doctors & nurses are great. But I’ve been trying to reach this place for weeks now for my test results and as other people have said in their reviews, it’s just rings and then hangs up. The one time I did get connected to someone(I called back the number that left me a voicemail for my results), she was very rude and said I called the wrong department and that she’d transfer me over. Again, I was hung up on. I just want my test results man

It’s not the first time I visited Urgent MD and I had absolutely normal experience. This time it was just a lazy Physician assistant that didn’t want to move a finger. It was a simple procedure that was done for me before in the same location. But not on Sunday. I was in and out in 15 min but except exam nothing was done!

Being diagnosed and treated by Dr. Sanjida Cabot and her team at the Urgent MD Urgent Care Center, Cedarhurst Clinic was the best experience I have ever had in an emergency care situation. They were smart, empathic, knowledgeable and organized in planning my diagnostic process and recovery plan. I am so grateful to them all for their help. It is nice to know they are here! I live in a different state and am here because of I am about to leave on a trip out of JFK. But if I lived here, I would seek them out for Urgent Care always! Beautiful clinic. Efficient and effective team led by a physician who clearly is working in the right profession! Thanks!

On Thursday May 16 around noon, I rushed out of my house to pick up my 4-year old from school. She was throwing up continuously and was lethargic and dizzy. She was dehydrated and could not walk. I rushed to Urgent MD in Cedarhaurst and as soon as I started driving there, I realized that I had left my wallet at home with all my insurance cards and credit cards. Luckily, I texted my husband so that he would take a picture of his insurance card ( we all have the same insurance information). Upon arriving, I was met by a receptionist who asked for my insurance info. I explained what happened and that I did not have my wallet and showed her the insurance card picture. She was able to find my daughters info in the system as we had previously visited the office. Seeing the condition of my child and that she was not able to walk, stand or speak, she told me that I had an outstanding bill. I asked her to give me a copy of it so I would check it later with my insurance. She then said, knowing that I did not have my wallet, that I had to pay a deductible of a $100+. We never had to pay deductible in Urgent MD as they always bill later but I thought perhaps they changed their policy. I told her I would pay it but I did not have my wallet and asked to be billed later. She then denied us the service that my daughter urgently needed because of a $ 100. I left the place shocked and ashamed. She risked the life of a child because of money. Such unethical employees should have no place in the health system. No child should face this situation. I feel sorry and ashamed that I visited this facility.

Billed $400 for a Covid test. After speaking to a billing person they said they would take care of it. Still being billed for this even though at the office visit I gave my insurance info. Don’t know if they are just trying to take advantage of people who would pay not realizing that the tests should be of no cost to them.

If you can avoid it don’t come here. The front desk staff is extremely rude. They have a terrible .attitude.

This is the second time doing to see the doctor and the never sends over my meds to the pharmacy. And now they dont pick up the phone.

Best urgent care Ive ever been to. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The staff was very caring and considerate. Although I was diagnosed strep throat, everything else was amazing in that visit Lol !

Horrible place. Worst place I have visited for medical care. I thought that in COVID era there would be signs posted in and outside posted to maintain social distancing. This place had NONE posted nor seating spaced apart that is recommended by CDC guidelines. Also no sanitizer for you to clean your hands after touching the 1 pen to sign in.Receptionist at front desk and person assign to do the COVID testing had the worst attitude and were not client friendly at all.The best service was the very kind physician assistant who ended up having to do the test. I will NOT return to this location EVER!

Robert the receptionist, the very nice man at the front desk helped me so much with a smooth transition , I barely waited! the man of the hour was Dr Van, excellent bedside manner , he knows what he is doing. Definately not a novice or a newbie in this field. I am pediatric nurse and have seen my fair share of doctors, but being a patient i appreciated his wealth of knowledge and FANTASTIC BEDSIDE MANNER!, what a gem in cedarhurst!

My husband went there today because he was so sick he was seen by doctor Robert branch who was amazing . My husband couldn’t even talk and was treated so amazing there . I stopped going to this urgent care because there was a pa woman who treated me so bad but after hearing about today experience I’ll def go back . Robert branch is so smart and knows exactly how to care for his patients ,

This a very good place, to see a doctor when your not feeling well. All the people here a very nice, and the place is very clean, that means a lot to me. I like the doctor i seen, he was so nice and patient. I truly would come here again, its the best place.

My experience at Urgent Care was Excellent. The doctor was caring and empathic while treating me. The clinic is very clean. The staff was very courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend you.

Went in for a coviid test today 1-14-21 There staff was polite and effective. Was there for about a HR .Had to fill out paperwork cause it was my first time there. Everything went smooth definite be back if I ever need too.

My husband and I went to this facility today. The female receptionists were rude, unprofessional and had a disgusting attitude. They completely lacked professionalism. I’ve been going here for a while but due to the change in staff and the horrible experience I had I definitely won’t be returning to this urgent care 👎🏽

Its great once you actually get seen!! They randomly close and say they didnt have a provider for the day! They promote their schedule as 8-8 and 8-5 but NO! They need to add IF a doctor is willing to come! Three times Ive tried to go there and they were closed as in did not open for the day! UNACCEPTABLE! Are you urgent care or are you when we want to care!

So today I went to Urgent MD and was treated fairly poorly. I walked in, in an attempt to see if they took my insurance and apparently the woman at the front desk there ( didnt get a chance to catch her name but she had on a baby blue/light blue lab coat , glasses and her hair pointed to the sky) decided that her personal phone call was more important than what I was there for. She basically snapped at me as if I was interrupting/disturbing her. As she reluctantly assisted me, I did take note that she never bothered to disconnect the call before assisting me. (She had in those air pod headphones, you know, the wireless ones.) Needless to say, her phone buddy must have heard everything. Unfortunately even though they took my insurance I took my business/sickness elsewhere and will never go there again. She was a poor representation of ANY business and instead of manning the front desk should be kept in the back.

I was seen due to breathing problems. While waiting for my results I overheard two of the nurses say “she has breathing problems in her head” and they just kept saying rude remarks I have never experienced something like this because. Doctors and nurses shouldn’t be able to speak about patients like that. I left and went to a different urgent care which confirmed I was having an asthma attack.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. They were extremely friendly. I didnt have to wait long. I got a call from them a couple of days later checking up on me to see if I felt better. Five stars all around😃.

They can be a little busy with multiple patients but they have good insight and on care experience to take care of you. They also at least listen to your problems and even have a light laugh with you. Recommended.

Overall I liked visiting this place. The staff was very nice and explained everything well. My fever was driving me so crazy though that I forgot to ask if they had pain relievers that I could take until I get my prescription.

I went to this urgent care on 11\3\19. The customer service was horrible . they told me that my deductiable needs to meet before a doctor can see me . I called my aetna insurance they told me urgent care is 100% covered. I am only responsible for $60 . which is what I told the receptionist. The receptionist told me I owe 2k to my deductiable. I said so I cant see the doctor . she said no . so I have to go somewhere else ? She said I guess so .I was treated unfairly. And the customer service is horrible giving out wrong information.I also try to call the next morning to speak to mangement about the situation. I believe it was the same rep . she asked why I want to speak to mangement. He is not available.horrible place.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. 5 stars for her. The assistant went in the hallway to tell the P/A my issues as they laughed. They didnt offer xrays and told me i didnt look sick but would give me antibiotics becasue i said i was sick. Definitely wont be back. Absolutely unprofessional...

I’ve been to other urgent cares near by. They are terrible in every way.This is by far the best system and staff. Super friendly, professional and they answer call promptly.

My experience at Urgent MD Rockaway Tpke in Cedarhurst was great , it was non stressful even thought I was in a lot of pain. I had two deep cuts on my fingers and got 13 stitches. Dr Lana and Vladimir are very caring and professional they took care of me without the long waits of a hospital emergency room.

The most unprofessional and aggravating experience. My daughter is very sick with high fever two days after being seen she returned to see if there is more that can be done. The first time she was seen by Dr Borris Byalik he had no assistance, no nurse or receptionist they didn’t show up for work. He wasn’t even going to see her but she insisted. Our regular Doctor couldn’t see her either . She was feverish and desperate. The visit with the doctor lasted seconds, he called in medicine and sent her on her way. She went back 2 days later feeling worse . However the doctor at this time ,Sunday at the Cedarhurst Urgent care refused to see her. His reason was he wasn’t the doctor she saw originally “ “ she’ll have to come back”. I wanted to call corporate and make a complaint but her refused to give us his name and told her to leave before he called the police. I’m shocked

This was my first visit to urgent care & may say that dispite the level of pain that I was experiencing . I was very pleased and impressed with the level of service, the entire staff and the levels that they went to too Elimente and diagnose my pain. They made the right call by sending me via ambulance to the hospital, South Nassau where I had surgery and sent a week in recovery. Urgent-MD Cedarhurst NY , gets five 5 stars from me.

Terrible people who were extremely rude to patients giving them attitude and using phrases like, “hurry up, we don’t have all day..” like really?! I have never been treated like that nor have I seen anyone being treated like that at a medical facility. Will not be coming back unless I’m desperate. Worst first impression ever. SMH.

My son and i had a very bad sinus, asthma problem and we were both seen in an hour. Dr was so friendly, professional and efficient that my teen mentioned having him as his PCP. In a time of bad medical experiences, this was refreshing and chicken soup yo my sick soul.I visited again yesterday January 26th and I got a young lady. The MA came in triage me, and stick a strip in my nostrils to test for flu....She went away with it the Dr came in and said you have the flu.She didnt check my glands, my mouth my ears nothing and I have pre-existing conditions.Older Drs know a lot more by experience, cause I had to go to another PCP the day after and I had Bronchitis. Im disappointed.

This place is a wonderful place to visit instead of going to emergency rm visit. It a clean, and sanitize place. They also hav an area for the kids to play at where it keeps them busy. When it comes to the dr n medical that took care of me and my son was unbelieveable. She really took the time to help my son feel at ease when she was examining him. I would definitely come back if i need to

I was seen by the doctor immediately (within 5 minutes) and he was very polite and on the mark. In addition to a prescription for my illness, he suggested something over the counter to immediately help dismiss my discomfort. Yes, I would strongly recommend! judy m

The people who work at the front desk are not friendly. They are nasty and disgusting to the people coming in for care. In my opinion they need an attitude adjustment.Other then that it was good.

Just visited there for the first time and was so pleased with the whole experience. Everyone was so pleasant, professional, and caring. It was not too busy and I was taken care of promptly. I would definitely recommend and go back if I needed to (hopefully not though)

Horrible service . I feel as though the doctor was rushing me out as if she didn’t want to help. I have an abscess and instead of prescribing something for the pain she prescribed antibiotics. I’m still in pain they helped nothing . I will not be returning . Waste of time and money

Update this place is ridiculous and will be reaching out to the director. They had me waste 40 mins of my time today and my girlfriend was able to get it done in five minutes at another place. All I needed was a letter of clearance for traveling and I wasn’t done properly and a guy name Colin was not friendly at all im helping meThey don’t answer phones which is ridiculous if you need to ask basic questions on wait times given there’s still a pandemic going on

Brought my dad who cannot go alone on September 17, 2021 at 245 pm. The manager sitting at the front desk is the nastiest woman I have ever encountered. I will never ever frequent this centre ever again all because of this woman. I would write her name but I don’t know it because she is so rude. What a shame!

Urgent MD in Cedarhurst was visited today. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The wait was short. The facility was clean and the Dr was attentive, helpful and respectful of my questions and care preferences.

I would give zero stars if possible!! Totally unprofessional, incompetent and very unCaring. Inhumane at best. After waiting for more than half an hour, Svetlana Kulangiyev ( I was told thats her name) said she needs x-rays, full work up and blood work before anything and she cant see the baby because she has to leave. Really? She refused to even look at a babys swollen finger. She was so unprofessional and disinterested, that when I approached her to show her the finger, she just walked away. It just seems like a scam to require x-rays plus other work without even taking a peak at the finger. It seems that the only things urgent here, are the costly x-rays, blood work and work up before even looking at the finger. What sane physician insists on these tests for a baby when theres no immobility or pain to the touch. A receptionist said there may be a fracture- Really? Since when do receptionists diagnose? This place is worse than awful. Total incompetence and disregard for medical attention and patients.Going to Urgent Care on Rockaway Turnpike is an exercise in futility, a total waste of waste of time and energy. I would suggest going to an emergency room where they at least have real doctors to diagnose and provide proper medical care.

Not a good facility. Came in for.covid test ONLY. They billed my insurance co incorrectly. Per insurance, there is no out of pocket for covid test only. They refuse to correct issue and keep sending me bills.letter was sent to them from insurance co cc me. Never coming back again.

Front desk staff angie was rude and careless about your private formation so beware. Showing your id to her is somehow “in her face” and storms off having a temper tantrum

Great staff here, the PA here was great, friendly and helpful. Everyone was very thorough. I came in a week ago when I was feeling like garbage. They did a great job helping me out.

I’ve been here 3 times now. Every single time was the worst experience imaginable. Hours and hours of wait while nurses and docs ignore you and shmooze on the side. Avoid at all costs.

Okay lets start this off by the front desk staff is super friendly and adorable. Very straight forward and up front with the task they want you to do.But once u come in and your waiting for the doctor to come and check you, omg forget it!Im literally sitting here typing this message waiting for this Doctor. Ive been sitting here since 2:43PM and its now 3:22PM!!! I could have been a doctor already ! GeeessssI am frustrated enough that i am sick. But if noone is here. Why have me sit here and just wait. Had a severe ear infection. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Picked up my prescription 5 minutes later. Thank you to the great staff!

Went there on 11/14/20 to get some titers for a potential job as Im unemployed. The employee said the titers will be around $200-300 dollars. A few weeks later I got a bill for $556.05. I felt lied to! Who right now has $556 to pay for titers. Why wasnt I told the TRUTH when I was there. I would not have paid for the titers if I knew they were going to be that price. The Manager Angela has no clue either. You need to train your employees better. Go at your own risk!

This office is always fantastic. The staff is amazing, they take most insurances. The wait time is so small, and everything gets taken care of fast and efficiently.

These people are the worse leeches! Even if you have insurance they say they do take but then claim they dont but when you tell them you were told otherwise they claim the receptionist dont know exactly what insurance they take! What?? They will bill your credit card and you have no say! They are worthless and I rather pass or before I walk in a place where they do nothing.. There just nurses who tell you to go home and everything Will be ok... Temperature of 102.8 and nothing wrong go home and sleep it off!!!

I had a good experience went on 1/21 at 6pm was out in less than 30 minutes. Front desk was pleasant, Dr and staff introduced themselves immediately which is a plus for me.

The waiting room was inviting and I came with 4 kids strait from the park because of a falling accident. My kids were entertained with crayons and lollipops while my hurt son was taken care of. Great experience thank you

It was Saturday May 19, 20i8 going into the Hebrew holiday of Shavout when I realized that my left ring finger was extremely swollen and painful. I tried to remove the diiamond wedding band that I had been wearing for over 30 years, but it wouldnt budge past the knuckle. The more I tried to nudge the ring forward, the greater the swelling and the pain.I knew that I couldnt hold out until after the holiday. I went to the Urgent Care Center on Rockaway Turnpike in Cedarhurst and from the moment I got in there, I felt a sense of reassurance. Dr. Robert Sparcio was the attending physician and he tried to cut the ring with a special cutter, but it soon became apparent that the quality of the ring was beyond durable and that it would take tremendous effort to make headway in the chiseling process. The staff, Vincent, Kayre, and Abuzar all came to assist Dr. Robert Sparcio by holding the ring in position and to help with the chiseling which was a tiring process. It took nearly one half hour to chisel,, and pliers to finally get the ring open. What a sense of relief! Dr. Sparcio was not only amazing in coming to rescue, but he managed to cut through only one part of the gold of all the gold between the diamonds encircling the eternity ring and amazingly, none of the diamonds were damaged. Most importantly, the entire staff kept reassuring me that all would be well when it was quite obvious that the challenge was great. Dr. Sparcio remarked that this was his most difficult case of ring cutting. I am most appreciative for the care and the concern as well as the consideration for the diamond ring which will most likely be salvageable. Thank you, thank you!

From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of. The ladies at the front desk, the physicians assistant, and the doctor were all incredibly kind, and I cannot recommend visiting here enough!

The Staffing was very good at their jobs and helpful with the information as well as getting the x-rays needed from my fall. I definitely would use and recommend them to family and friends.

Dr Cabot was really nice personable I really like that. The young lady from reception was really sweet and the doctors assistant was also nice. An upgrade from when I went a few years back.

Very friendly and professional staff. Facility is clean and has up to date equipment. The visit took longer than I would have liked (2.5 hours) but overall I would go again.

What a huge waste of time. The waiting room was empty but I had to wait forever just to see some nurse that had no idea what she was talking about. Then the real nightmare began trying to get a simple prescription. Stay away!

Unfriendly staff, was seen by doctor for 5 mins, was forgotten by doctor in room till closing. Docter had already left when a nurse ask me what was I waiting for.

Clean facility, friendly staff. Lovely doctor and x ray technician. Very pleasant experience over all(aside from the sprained ankle!). Thank you!

Cut myself open. Went here can got right in. All staff from the front desk to the blood pressure guy to the doctor were super nice. In and out with stitches in 20 minutes.

Double check their recommendations! They prescribed me nystatin for athletes foot when nystatin is for candida not tinea pedis!

This particular urgent care in the five town area will and always be my choice of urgent care the staff is helpful courteous and very informative and I’m always out of there in no time I’m extremely pleased with their service and keep up the great work

Had to get checked for strep throat on a Sunday morning. I was in and out in under a half hour. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. Very professional. Need a sonogram and staff made the appointment for me on the stop. The PA told me that she will be in touch after she rec receives the results.

First time taking my daughter there very pleasant the whole staff want in there longer than a hour the doctor was nice and funny

After seen by doctor (at least I think she was) for less then 5 minutes, was left waiting in the exam room for over an 1 hour till a nurse told me the doctor left and they where closing… terrible service

This place is a joke, waste of time. Doctor seemed more interested in his phone instead of treating my child. Met with disrespect and attitude. This is easy, I now go elsewhere.

WENT TO URGENT CARE FOR POSSIBLE FRACTURES OF FACE AND FINGER. I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT DR. CABOT WAS ON CALL. SHE HAD SEEN ME ON SEVERAL OTHER VISITS FOR COLDS,ETC. SHE IS IN A WORD GREAT!!! VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND CARING. SHE THINKS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE BOX. I HAVE RECOMMENDED HER TO FRIENDS THAT NEED AN E.R. DOCTOR. URGENT CARE IS FORTUNATE TO HAVE HER.

Came here with my 1 year old he had an ear infection it was so nice and clean and the staff were friendly .I was there maybe 15 min definitely recommend and will be back if needed!

The doctor was amazing but the receptionist was nasty . She was rude and just a nasty attitude.

They sent only medication to my pharmacy instead of two.this isn’t the first time this happened.I called 10x around 430 until they closed and nobody picked up

Coming from a real person the people here don’t care about who comes in I went in for a diagnosis hoping they could help me narrow down what was wrong with me I had already gotten an ekg and refused to do it again a woman was rudely impatient with my decision and I over heard them gossiping about me before the doctors entered who most certainly didn’t care either this isn’t it

Fast...beats waiting in the emergency room for non emergencies but in need of quick medical care. I love it. I was in and out maybe an hour tops.
