I first started going to Patti because I was diagnosed with Hashimoto and was experiencing mood swings, extreme fatigue, and anxiety. Patti has helped me manage my symptoms and it has become part of my weekly routine to get treatment from her. Patti has also been a great resource for recommending herbal supplements and she provides a safe space for talking about what I am going through. I highly recommend Patti and her team to anyone interested in receiving a thorough acupuncture session. Each time I leave the office, I feel a weight lifted and I am filled with new energy. Patti is the best! Highly highly recommend her and the entire practice! I love how open and compassionate and kind they are there. I always feel so much more relaxed and calm when when I leave. They have helped me so much and been so supportive through everything. The massages are also amazing.

Patti is not just an acupuncturist; she is a healer and works with not only your body but your spirit and soul to balance your body to a purer state. Morgan gives the best, most consistent massage. She is always professional, uses the right amount of pressure and helps bring my body back into balance. I have gotten dozens of massages, and this has been by far the best quality.

Very bad attention. I was in treatment for three appointments with very kind people until I met PATTI SAFIAN. I received very bad attention and unprofessional treatment with the excuse that vehicle accident cases do not pay enough and that it is a waste of time. I think that does not merit receiving changes in their attitude and much less alterations in their behavior. Or was it because of racism? The truth is that I was surprised. I would not recommend this place.

I always look forward to going here to have some “me” time and let the calmness take over. The staff is warm and amazing and the place is nicely taken care of. Highly recommend!

I saw Patti and Rosemarie during IVF and the first trimester, and had wonderful experiences with both. They’re very knowledgeable about fertility issues and treatment, and make suggestions without being pushy. I was nervous about needles but was quickly put at ease during my sessions, as they are gentle in their practice. There is good evidence that acupuncture aids in the success of embryo transfers, and it certainly worked in my case. I’m so grateful for the fertility acupuncture niche!

I have been going to see Patti at the start of my fertility process and can’t say enough positive things about Patti and the staff. First, she was able to detect I had an ongoing issue that the my doctors missed! Without Patti’s help, I would have had potential issues that could have been easily preventable. Also, seeing Patti each week helped me greatly during my process, not only with my acupuncture but with her ability to guide me through the process and reduce my stress. Would high recommend!

I started going to Patti because I read that acupuncture was good for fertility. Knowing Patti has been a great experience. She is the reason I found out I have MTHFR and Hashimoto’s. I had gone to three different IVF clinics and not one of them took the time to send me for extra testing. Patti knew from the time she evaluated me that something was off and she told me which tests to get done. I honestly trust her more than my IVF doctor and I do take her advice seriously. She is so caring and I also love Cassandra. They are both awesome ladies!

Patti and her team are such an amazing treasure. I started coming to Patti at the beginning of my fertility journey. She always made me feel relaxed and at ease, suggesting what to eat and what natural supplements to take. Once I started IVF, Patti made sure to accommodate me and get me in for treatment right around my retrieval and transfer dates. That timing was critical! Her Staff are gentle, kind and truly care about their patients. They helped me to get pregnant and for that I am forever grateful to Patti and her Staff!

I highly recommend the Wellness Center and Patti Safian for their commitment to the health and well being of their clients, Through the years I have been treated by other acupuncturists, but after treatments by Patti, I can honestly say that she is the most formidable. She is attentive and thorough and has a pleasant manner about her. The staff is supportive and welcoming. After a devastating car accident in 2016 and countless months of mainstream treatments; I was still experiencing pain and loss of movement, I turned to Patti who helped me regain my active lifestyle. I thank her each time I see her for her talent and dedication, and being there to help me.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough!!! Having both just turned 40, my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for over two years. We had just started consulting with an IVF practice when a friend recommended I look into fertility acupuncture as a support for better IVF success rates. I found The Wellness Place and had a consultation with Patti. She made some diet and lifestyle recommendations, and we started acupuncture sessions. I began the sessions and diet changes in late January/early February, and by March I was looking at a positive pregnancy test, with zero IVF treatments! It was nothing short of miraculous! I kept seeing Rosemarie and Patti throughout the pregnancy, and now I have a beautiful and healthy baby girl. I will 100% be using them for any future pregnancies, they are the absolute best!

I had a highly positive experience with Patti from conception through delivery and now post-partum. Patti tailored the Accupuncture sessions for me, as I went through the trimesters. I felt a spike in my energy level and state of mind for days after each session. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I went to Patti weekly for help with hip and back pain issues, and I got to know her more personally. She is vivacious and dedicated to improving wellness.The only con was the wait time to start a session despite scheduling appointments in advance. Given the overall positive experience, I regarded this as a small inconvenience.

I’ve had the privilege of being under Patti’s care since Feb of this year. With several failed attempts to achieve a successful pregnancy via IVF, I was able to naturally conceive. Patti’s knowledge and care played a huge role in my success. I’ve been to other acupuncturists in the past and I can honestly say I’ve never received the type of personalized attention I received from Patti and her team. Allot some time for your appointments, as Patti reviews your case with you and updates any supplements you should be taking. I can’t thank Patti enough for her help.

Patti is amazing! She knows how to target those special areas that need relief. I always arise from the table feeling less pain and with a bounce in my step. Patti keeps abreast of new research and techniques to bring into her practice...a lifelong learner! She is worth every penny and every minute I spend there. And a special shout out to her office manager Joanne...she is amazing at scheduling, rescheduling and communicating with clients.

Have been coming here for about a month now to help aid in fertility. While I am not pregnant yet, I did notice a considerable positive difference in my cycle. Patti is the kindest and most attentive practitioner I have ever been to. Her office is very cozy and welcoming and Joann at the front desk is always super helpful. Hoping this helps my situation and continues to help me feel better as well.

I can’t rave enough about Patti as a person, practitioner and acupuncturist.. I have been under Patti’s care for nearly 1 year and NEVER have I been disappointed. She is warm, caring, empathetic, a great listener, extremely knowledgeable in women’s reproductive health and super thorough. My first consult with her was nearly 2hrs long. I had no idea how in depth her interview would be and how involved she would get in obtaining medical information. Patti is great and I highly recommend her, she is very flexible and understanding. I have had a wonderful experience with my acupuncture it has really helped my disgestive system and helped me cope with stress, I also appreciate that Patti is always willing to listen and give me advice on how to improve my day to day and manage my stress and health better. The other day I had a change if schedule but I still really wanted to make my acupuncture treatment and Patti kindly accommodated and took me in at a later time, instead of canceling my appointment.

I’ve been working with Patti for the past few weeks for relief of autoimmune symptoms and her treatment has really been helping. Each week I leave feeling like my body is healing from a recent and serious flair up. Patti also has a lot of knowledge about other important parts of an autoimmune treatment plan, including diet and supplements. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you struggle with an autoimmune disease or another chronic condition.

I have been coming to NJ Acupuncture & Wellness since 2012 to help get my PCOS under control with acupuncture, supplements and diet. Patti and her staff are wonderful, supportive and very knowledgeable about infertility and auto-immune issues. Patti helped me understand my PCOS and how I could treat/manage it naturally. She educated me about a proper diet and I almost immediately felt better and saw improvement in my cycles. Shes also advised me on supplements to aid in ovulation once I was actively trying to get pregnant. I am confident that is due largely to Pattis assistance that I was able to conceive naturally (despite numerous reproductive endocrinologists telling me otherwise!) and am now the happy mom of a healthy baby boy! The natural route took a bit longer than taking Clomid, but I am so glad I stuck with it and got myself healthy - my baby and I are all the better for it! I highly recommend Patti to anyone who has struggled with infertility or a lack of answers from western medicine in general -- give the natural route a try. Ive attended support groups and yoga there, and recently started going to them for massages as well -- all has been wonderful. They also accept insurance and handle all the paperwork which is great. I honestly cant say enough good things about them!

Patti was amazing, I highly recommend going to her if you are trying to get pregnant. I went for a couple of months before getting pregnant and throughout my first trimester to deal with nausea. Patti was always so kind and I always left feeling great!

I wouldnt have my amazing 2.5 year old if it wasnt for Pattis love and compassion. We tried everything before finding her! For years! In Pattis care I was pregnant within a couple of months. We are currently working towards another miracle and I am fully confident shell successfully work her magic.

Having done a lot of acupuncture in New York City before, I can say that the Wellness Place is amongst the best Acupuncture places in NY/NJ. I chose the Wellness Place after very careful research as there are many acupuncturists in the Montclair area. Reviews did not lie. The level of professionalism and the amount of care this place provides makes a big difference. Patti - the owner - is beyond caring and extremely knowledgable. She immediately made me feel like I was in very good hands and gave me so much positive energy and hopes. There is something so uplifting with her energy. She does not only focus on acupuncture treatment per se; she provides a holistic approach on how to optimize fertility. I researched everything she recommended in my case and I am very impressed with her attention to details. After 3 weeks of treatments (2-3 times a week), I feel so re-energized, positive and in the right place. The other therapist - Ju Ho - is also unbelievably professional and good. They complement each other wonderfully - with Ju Ho provided more of the physical relaxation/massage and Patti focusing more on the relaxation of the mind; together they provide a perfect balance. I highly recommend alternating sessions with Patti and Ju Ho. I am also grateful to Joanne - Patti’s assistant -, who too contributes to making this place feel “home”. Joanne supports and accompanies you throughout the process and is very sweet. Lastly, the place is very pleasant and has a wonderful warm, serene and relaxing vibe to it; unlike most cold acupuncture places I have been to before. The choice of music goes hand in hand with the overall soothing atmosphere. This place is all about care and I am grateful to the Wellness Place for their amazing sense of professionalism throughout this fertility journey. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Three of us took a gentle yoga class with Patti. She started the class by asking what areas of our bodies needed attention. We all left feeling so much better. Patti was very generous with her time and attention.

Morgan has very good knowledge and understanding of medical massages. Highly personable and caring as well. Will definitely recommend her for anyone in need of good massage care.

I have been so pleased with everyone I have come into contact with here. Patti helped me so much with pregnancy related migraines and discomfort. The office is always accommodating of my schedule, patient and helpful with all my questions and concerns. They have gone above and beyond to fit me in, get back to me, and make me comfortable.

What can I say about NJAMF?! I have been going for about four years. Primarily I was going for treatment of my fibroids and related issues. Patti, the owner is such a ball of energy 🤩She is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does it either will scare you or you’ll fall in love with her LOL she’ll take a full assessment of you and may even treat things you’re not aware that needs to be treated. She picked up on things I had no clue was related to other things. With my new diet and using her recommended chinese herbs I have shrunk my fibroids considerably and I feel whole ❤️!I have found a great dietician and counselor due to her recommendations.If you’re looking for a thorough acupuncturist that will help you be the best you through diet, massage,therapy, yoga and herbs then try coming here. I’ve never tried acupuncture before Patti. She’s a great friend almost like a second mom.Like any other business sometimes they do over schedule appointments or mix up times but I find that it’s very rare. Recently she’s added different acupuncturists and massage therapists so it’s very nice to get a complementary massage before acupuncture. If you’re looking for an experience to get in and out and for it to be cold and sterile this is not the place. Try It and see😀

Patti Safian is a master. She truly cares about peoples health. She helped my back when I was in tremendous pain and she treats the whole person. I love her and keep coming back! Thanks Patti!

The acupuncture portion of this was okay. Nothing special. The acupuncturist is knowledgeable but has major anxiety issues which trickled onto me. I understand we were in the middle of COVID but at one point she actually scolded her staff in front of me. Not acceptable. The loss of stars, however, is due to the appropriation of the Indian culture and Hindu religion. When asked about the religious music and Indian touches, the answer was a negative feeling/issue towards India/Hinduism due to her mom being brainwashed and thus leaving a bad impression. So then why have it? Why play religious prayers in the background? I completely understand that people are accepting the eastern culture and as an Indian I think that’s amazing, but not just to say you’re into eastern culture. The culture misappropriation was so bad I couldn’t wait to get out of there. She didn’t even know the music she was playing. These are sacred, religious hymns used to make the place seem more “eastern”. Just ridiculous. You’re knowledgeable on your own accord, no need to make it gimmicky and using my religion as a tool.

Patti is amazing with all the information she has to help you. I would recommend everyone trying her acupuncture or talk to her to understand how she can help you.

The service at this place is a little weird. They never told me how much my service costs, never offered a receipt (I had to ask for all of this) the massage wasn’t anything special either, I told her I’d like to focus on my upper back cause I have a lot of tensions there plus I’d like her to go stronger however unfortunately she ignored all this. Considering my overall experience I wouldn’t go back there.

I am a regular client. Patti is very professional and the facility creates a positive atmosphere for acupuncture and meditation.
