Planned Parenthood - Newton Health Center

September - again, no problems. Had an appointment and the women were on time like always. I love Dr. Mary Beth shes very professional and doesnt make you feel uncomfortable.Ive been using PP of Newton for awhile now. The staff is great. When I had complications they always called to check up on me!I will continue to use them for my obgyn! Definitely make an appointment as they are busy.Never rude or made me feel uncomfortable.Definitely recommend!

This facility is so bad, they absolutely dont care about the people they serve, I made appointment 2 weeks ago and because of the weather they want me to reschedule my appointment when I needed at the right time. I went on my appointment and they were closed and didnt even pick up calls to communicate. Very bad service absolutely worst. I would not recommend to anyone. Be aware folks.

Came here for a pregnancy confirmation. When I walked in was asked if I had an appointment all I said was online it said you cannot make an appointment for that. (No hostility in my voice whatsoever) yet the lady at the front counter was persistent that I calm down… will never come here again because what was the point of that. Just came off rude for no reason.

I am fortunate enough that the employees I encountered here were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. I appreciate the work Planned Parenthood does. Thank you!

Yall need to update your door and website you aren’t ever open it seems and nobody can assist me on the phone since you guys are never even open I’m late for my due shots and now haven’t be able to even get a walk in or even a appointment since you never updated your location hours and it’s difficult for me since I can’t transfer places without speaking to someone so please update your damn service hours

Don’t waste your time. I came here for potential answers and maybe a little clarity on my situation. I had an appointment at 1:30 and waited an hour and a half to see someone. That’s totally fine, I wasn’t upset about that whatsoever. I can understand being behind. My issue is that when I finally did see someone, not one question was answered and I was dismissed almost immediately. I asked a question about my pregnancy timeline and was handed a paper, she said “fill this out” and walked out of the room. I was in shock. I asked additional questions and then finally said “should I be asking someone else these questions?” She said “no, you can ask me” and then still proceeded to ignore everything I said. Legitimately not one question was answered. I asked to get an ultrasound and I was told I would have to wait, as there were other people who had made appointments. Great, except I had MADE one. At 1:30pm. And sat for an hour and a half. I ended up leaving. The only question I had answered was that I had a positive pregnancy tests. The 6 tests I took at home told me that. They need to realize that busy or not, this can be a scary situation in someone’s lives and a little graciousness and help go a long way. I ONLY gave any stars because of the ladies at the front desk. They were extremely sweet.

Ive been to this planned parenthood and liked it in the past so I figured Id go again. I made my appointment and was told it would cost as much as 175$ which I was fine with paying. I have a past with ovarian cysts and have had a constant pain in the same side for months so I was hoping for a check up and possible referral. From the moment I stepped in the doctor focused on nothing but my weight. From how the certain birth control she wanted to put me on wouldnt work as well because I was overweight to how I should get a stool to put my feet on while at work because Im just carrying around too much weight. Now Im not oblivious to my weight but I only need to be told once. She asked me nothing about my pain or what brought me in and nothing about previous periods. When I tried to bring up my pain all she said was that it was most likely because Im over weight. While she was examining me she actually jiggled my stomach and said, this is no good and its such a shame because youre so young and pretty. I went back in after we were done to check my blood pressure and she asked what I was doing for the rest of my day. I said hanging out with a friend to which she said, you should go to the Tai restaurant. Its healthy. I kept my cool the whole time until I found out they were charging me $250 for the visit and a pap and to be fat shamed. I was not heard. I was not helped. Im still scared about my pain and paid money to get no answers or even a referral so now I will have to pay more money to go somewhere else. I will NEVER set foot in this place again and I hope the entire staff actually learns to deal with people.

First of all their hours are already weird. I talked to two different people to try to make an appointment and they said to just walk in and no appointment necessary. I wanted to make an appointment in case they couldn’t take me and so I wouldn’t waste a trip because I live an hour away. So I go there on a Thursday, where the sign on the door says to open at 12. I wait about 20 minutes to give them time to open. The door is locked. So I call them and they say they’re closed and just hung up

They dont even deserve one star. Horrible, rude, and very condicending nurse practitioner. Refused to give me a check up Id asked for. And was very uncaring when I was explaining why I needed it and how much pain I was in. Then was very aggressive when giving me my shot. Was very rude when Id asked a question. All she kept talking about was money and how much this was all going to cost. They dont care about their patients, they only care about money. They nickel and dime you for everything. They have absolutely no bed side manner, compassion, or sympathy. Will never come back to this place again.

I’ve been to good planned parenthood’s before and this one is not one of them. Why make an appointment when they won’t see you until about an hour later? The place is filthy the nurse is nasty. Biggest waste of my time.

I went here when I was younger for birth control, and they treated me like I was family. Very polite and professional. I felt very safe letting them know personal details about certain topics (being a younger female that is very important!)

Just made an appointment and the lady was rude like i was bothering her after making the appointment I didn’t even get a chance to ask about the birth control completely hung up on me seriously if you have an issue with your job do not take it out on other people maybe find a new job

They refuse to answer questions or allow support in the room makes pateients uncomfortable

The only planned parenthood i know that’s hardly open . You’d have better luck diagnosing yourself over google before getting in contact with them .

Allowed me to schedule appointment, I show up for appointment, location not open. Gone for the day on the door.

So helpful and caring I would recommend the staff to anyone in need of advise care or just concerned.. they really care and listen.. I am so thankful they did
