I am so shocked at the negative reviews! All of the staff are so warm and welcoming there! Dr. Mann is great, the appts for monitoring are very convenient. All of the nurses are very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. I got pregnant from IUI. Yes it can be difficult to call and directly get someone but if you send messages to the staff they get back to you quickly, I personally find the portal that they use to be very convenient. I also had a miscarriage, and the whole thing was handled with a lot of care from everyone. I am truly grateful for this team and will continue my journey at IRMS, but think twice before you read the negative reviews.
If I could give less than one star, I would. The office staff were unorganized, rude and the nurse manager, Anne, and Dr. Mann were dismissive when I made my concerns known. The nurses , Carly and Dawn were consistently snappy and nasty, and if I had a question they acted like I was annoying them by asking questions about my treatment. It took at least five complaints to speak with Dr. Mann before parting ways. You are just a number and money to these people .I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
Profoundly grateful for the unwavering support and expertise of Dr. Mann and her entire IVF team. Their compassion, guidance, and expertise transformed our dream into a reality. Every step of this journey was marked by your dedication, and we are overjoyed to share the news of our successful IVF outcome with a baby girl. Thank you Dr. Mann and team from the depths of our hearts for helping us achieve the miracle weve longed for. Dr. Mann, Carly, Dawn, Meaghan, Jessica and everyone else - THANK YOU!
I have been with doctor Mann for several years now. Doctor Mann has excellent bed side manor. She is compassionate and takes her time to explain each procedure, test and result. I had a very emotional journey to get my baby and she and her staff were always there for me. Cheering me on, supporting me and offering a kind word. Her entire office staff and team of nurses are absolutely wonderful. The office staff has always been very responsive. In the event they can’t get to the phone they always follow up and update their patient portal or email for easy communication. I highly recommend Doctor Mann at Irms for all fertility needs and uterine fibroid removal.
I am going to start off by saying the staff are very friendly and my complaints aren’t with them but more around their processes. With that being said during our experience we hit several miscommunications and it felt as though we had to be on top of everything because until an actual cycle was in process there was barely any communication or check-ins. It also felt as though we were thought to know things we didn’t know (“You don’t know what you don’t know.” Which makes it hard to think of questions to ask.). Once procedures were scheduled there was some communication, but it that gives off the feeling that you are just a number. We also only met with the actual doctor twice, both times were virtual. By the time we were to meet with the doctor for a third visit, we were just frustrated and looking elsewhere. Fertility treatments themselves are frustrating enough to deal with, and what to us seemed like more reactive processes made things that more frustrating.Again, the staff is friendly but our experience left us feeling frustrated, like a number, and impersonal.Side note: there are three platforms they use which not ideal because you have to know which one to go to for different things.
Dr. Mann does not check on her patients after they miscarriage she will only notify you through the portal and not by phone if I can give this please zero stars I would, but I’m forced to give them one star
Dr Mann is fantastic. I’ve been to a few different offices of hers and they’re all very nice and clean and the staff is amazing.
When i first started this journey, i put all of my trust in the team thinking they knew what they were doing.BOY WAS I WRONG.First of all, both Carly and Dawn (they were my nurses) had zero sympathy nor empathy. They treated me like a number, and often got annoyed for asking questions. Even though I’m a nurse myself, it’s a completely different realm of nursing and as a first time patient, they should’ve had even more patience and understanding; however, all I received was “get over it” type of attitude. Their common sentence was “well, that’s all thatI can do, and that’s how we’ve always done it”. What happened to individualized care? Since when was every woman’s body the same and reacted the same way to the treatments? They were no accommodating even for filling out intermittent leave forms. Never even attempted to understand from the patient’s point of view or tweak things to make things work.Secondly, after the egg retrieval, absolutely no form of communications. No call, no message to keep me updated; I waited until day 4 to find out from the on-call nurse that I had one embryo. Never bothered to let me know what my next step was after the egg retrieval, keeping me in the dark. Didn’t even follow up to see how I was doing after receiving general anesthesia! How was a first time IVF patient supposed to know what to expect next? Then tells me they couldn’t do embryo genetic testing- so what happened to my embryo?! At that point, I could no longer trust the nurses (Dawn and Carly) nor the group as a whole. That’s when I knew I couldn’t stay with IRMS anymore.Every cycle is important and every embryo brings possible hope and joy to the patients who go through the IVF. Maybe to the group, I’m just another female patient looking to get pregnant, but there are financial, emotional and physical struggles that people go through. But the impression I was under is that they did not care one bit about you, and rather annoying if you don’t get it the first time.I am utterly disappointed and flabbergasted to encounter such incompetent care and I truly hope there’s no one else who will go through the same situation as I did.8/21/23 update:Still no call or communication from any of the nurses, including the nurse manager. No apologies except from Dr. Mann who was my IVF doctor. Also, you need to be familiar with three different apps/ platforms to talk to different people: one app to communicate with the nurses, one app to talk to the receptionist, then another one for the educational videos. Even though I’m pretty tech savvy, this was the most confusing system to navigate through.Good luck to all and hope you have a better experience than I did.PS: I hear RMA is much better and well organized, with nurses that actually care about you.
I dont think they take patient seriously I called many times to front desk and ask my concern but no body taking care or call me back regarding my treatment as they have no concern , i asked front desk lady I want to make an appointment with my doctor because I have issue with my treatment and nobody responding proper and she said a nurse or care coordinator will call you but no one call , i dont know why they are non serious and not worried about their patient , they should have atleast follow up of the patient who desperately want treatment from you , v sad
The worst place ever to start a treatment, Dr Jessica Mann, was my doctor, I could never get in touch with her I call her so many times, I leave messages at front desk and nothing no one bothered to call me back, if you not gonna take your patients seriously your are in the wrong career.
I would give 0 stars if I could.
